Just came back from a quick trip to Bangkok-Thailand over the weekend to watch the Red Pill Blues World Tour by Maroon 5. And it was super awesome!

I’ve been a huge fan of them since “This Love” came out back in 2002. Seeing them live last week was something magical and I honestly cannot stop singing and dancing to each song they were singing all night! Will share all the details later on another post like usual.

On the other hand, Bangkok was superb! I love every single thing about it! The gorgeous temple, great food, cheap shopping, literally like everything! Well except for the intense heat from the sun. Nevertheless, I still enjoy my trip very much.

This was my second time to Bangkok. I came here with my big family years ago for a family vacation. I don’t remember all the details but I feel glad I had the chance to come back here again.

Oh by the way, on the first day of my trip, I did a quick solo trip because my other friends arrived at the afternoon. And yes, it was my first solo trip. Honestly it was fun and weird at the same time. I feel scared yet excited at the same time. I will also share all the detail on another post about this.

Meanwhile, do enjoy Thailand through my eyes.

A few days ago, I had a uni-friends reunion at a Japanes restaurant near Senopati area. Afterwards, I was craving for a cup of ice cream. After browsing through a few food directory apps, we decided to go to this place called ‘Honest Spoon’ that located at the same building as Ombe Koffie at Cikajang area. From the outside, I thought this ice cream shop is joining with Ombe Koffie so I was expecting a crowded ambiance. Turns out they have separate area and although considerably small, somehow it felt spacious and very cozy.

Tempted by the unique flavors that they have, we decided to buy a few flavors of ice cream to share. I pick their Cookie Monster in a single cup that cost around IDR 35K. It was a blue colored vanilla ice cream mixed with cookie chunks. I really love the ice cream because it has this smooth creamy texture yet also has a strong vanilla taste without overpowering your palate. Also the cookie chunks gives another crunchy texture that brings the ice cream into a perfect harmony in your mouth. Oh I’m in love!

My other friends pick the triple scoop that cost around IDR 70K. It was cheaper but still has the same scoop size. The flavor was Dark Chocolate, Mint Chocolate Chip and Rose. I love how deep and rich the dark chocolate one. The chip in the mint chocolate chip ice cream was also given in a very generous amount. Even though I’m not a mint eater, I’m a bit fond of this one. As for the rose, it has this strong rose smell and flavor to it. However it was not my kind of ice cream. As for the texture, the three of them was smooth and creamy yet not too sweet, which something that I really like.

I’m thankful for that I could learn how to work in team better, even most of the times I spend my days sitting in front of my laptop doing reports and stuffs that seems never end. I’m thankful for that I could learn how to grow as a person, to calm my nerve and step back if needed to when dealing with a stubborn clients. I’m thankful for that I could learn how to manage an office, not only the files and things but also every person behind it even sometimes it stress the hell out of me.

Most importantly, I’m thankful for that you open up my eyes to all the things I never knew I could have learn from. And for all that, I’m forever grateful.

Happy 3^rd Anniversary dear DHI Indonesia. I can’t say anything here but you know what I’m hoping for you.
